Review in a Minefield
I like it.
This is a useless review as that's all I'm saying.
Ta.
Old No. 7
It's just a bunch of metal riffs and breakdowns.
Not really a song or a loop.
However, due to the fact that you've been playing guitar for 3 months and were pissed when recording, I'll give you a 7 and a 4.
Good times doing pissed jams. Only problem is that they always end up sounding shit the morning after 'cause you know you can do shit-loads better when sober... although it's not as fun.
Well played.
heh, yeah true enough, my band and i now have all the parts written for the song, unfortunately we lack the recording equipment (or space) to record it and have it still sound good. and even when sober i still mess up at the same part every time lol :P thanks for the review
Grand Theft Review
Music's good, drummer's as tight as Mary herself, and at least the bass is clearly audible for this particular style of music.
One problem. Vocals.
Punk, or some variation of the form, has always been influenced by the antics and persona's of the front-men and as such, the vocalist has a tendancy to be fairly quiet and timid. Not to say the man isn't, but his vocals aren't provng otherwise.
Doesn't have to shout, but it isn't powerful enough to be in this style of music.
And yeah, don't gimme shit sayin' NOFX doesn't shout his head 'cause we all know he does, just in a very powerful way :P
Laters bud. Good stuff.
Yeah my vocals are weak I'm not gonna deny that but also, unlike 99% of other songs, I dont use autotune or anything, so exactly what I sing is what's on the track, no smoke and mirrors. And I agree on the whole energy thing too, but...you gotta see us live, we are a really sick live band. I really appreciate your constructive criticism, peace bro.
Wings To A Review
Ahhh fuck me.
Ain't heard something like this in a long time.
Thankyou very much.
No problems, no issues, nothing.
Just pure audible bliss.
Your girlfriend will be proud. If she's not, just dump her for that reason only.
Bahaha thanks a lot dude :)
Glad you liked it! :)
Review Disintegrations
I love the drum-beat. Reminds me of Streets of Rage.
So far at 0:30, it's nowhere near techno but more a nice melodic guitar riff. The melody of the keyboard at 0:47 is more reminescent of ambient than techno. I think I'm just picking holes as you've catagorised incorrectly.
As a song in whole, I very much enjoyed it and would like to hear a completed version as this beholds a lot of promise, and due to that, I'll give you an 8 and a 4.
Very nice work.
Review With Me!
Reminds me of an old trance song I used to listen to at the turn of the milennia.
I think making the piano quiter and making the distorted strings louder would give the track a more dancable appeal because people dance to the loudest part of a song, and in this case, I can see them jumping awkwardly to the melody of the piano.
Otherwise, not my cup of tea, but well put together.
Thanks Mate, Appreciated. I agree, Thanks for the Review. :)
REVIEW002
I like those chord on the intro. Very good progression.
0:33 AND incomes a piano riff, very minimalist and repetive but works with the feel.
Drums changing to different sounds which gives the song a different feel.
I'm still hearing the same melodies and chord progression at 1:53 and the chords underlaying are starting to remind me of a nordic folk song.
I really don't understand why, but I'm getting that feeling from the end part.
Strange, but that's what music does I guess.
Constructive criticism: Changing chords and melodies, as well as developing them are more effective than changing a drum beat, however changing the drumbeat was a much needed lift and made the track more palatable. A few new notes here and there and you'd be on your way.
PS: When the drums change, the melody sounds almost as though it's came straight out of Streets of Rage. Classic memories.
Thx for the response.

Jesus...
This is fucked.
That melody is all over the place, there's so much going on, so many effects/loops/noises. It's like Aphex Twin fell off a mountain with Tom Jenkins after arm-wrestling a bear, only to roll down the mountainside for an hour, hitting David Firth, Jean-Michel Jarre and Aloysius Rexford all on the way and morphing into something completely and utterly interesting.
I really like this... A lot actually.
Well played!
